Collision causes long delays along I-5 SB near Lacey

LACEY, WA — An accident Thursday afternoon delayed traffic for at least an hour along Interstate 5 southbound near Lacey, according to Tacoma’s Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT Tacoma).
Collision on I-5 SB at MP 109.1 near Martin Way E beginning at 2:02 pm on June 17, 2021 until further notice. The right lane is blocked.

The crash occurred near Martin Way and was reported at 2:02 p.m.
The right lane was blocked to accommodate emergency responders.
Delays remained on the road as of 2:27 p.m. that afternoon, backing up traffic as far as DuPont.
