Collision blocks NB I-5 near West Seattle Bridge

SEATTLE, WA – A collision blocked the two right-most lanes of northbound I-5 near the West Seattle Bridge this morning, reports the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision happened around 7 a.m. today just north of S Spokane Street. Footage taken from a nearby traffic camera showed multiple emergency vehicles on the scene, but a traffic sign obscured the crash scene itself.
By the time the wreck was removed from the roadway at 7:21 a.m., traffic had already backed up about four miles.
