Collision blocks lane on I-405 northbound near Renton

RENTON, WA — A collision was blocking the left lane on I-405 northbound near Renton Friday morning, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

On I-405 northbound just south of SR 169 there is a collision blocking the left lane.

The incident occurred in an area just south of State Route 169 and was reported by WSDOT around 8:25 a.m.

WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) were on scene to help clear the crash to the shoulder, which caused the right lane to be partially obstructed for a short time.

Both lanes have since been cleared, according to an update by WSDOT.
