Chelan, Washington – Brush Fire Damages Multiple Vehicles in Washington Creek Area, Displaces Occupants of RVs

Chelan, Washington (September 2, 2019) – A brush fire broke out in the Washington Creek area on Monday, with multiple vehicles reported to have burned in the fire. According to the report, at least three RVs, eight automobiles and one tractor was claimed by the fire. One dog was also reported to have died in the fire, but no human injuries or fatalities was reported in the incident. Some occupants of the affected RVs were however displaced by the fire and is being assisted by the Red Cross.

The fire was reported around 2:30, with a request for a third alarm. Firefighting crews from Manson and Chelan responded to the scene. The fire claimed an area less than than ten acres. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
