Chain-reaction crash in Mountlake Terrace injures one

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WA – One person was taken to the hospital after a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 5 in Mountlake Terrace on Monday morning.
According to KOMO News, a driver slammed on their breaks near the exit for 220th Street SW before 7 a.m. and was rear-ended by a second vehicle. The three vehicles behind them then became involved, including a black Range Rover that ended up on top of a red sedan.
One person was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Four drivers received citations for following too closely.
An investigation took place at the scene.
