Car crashes into telephone pole, through West Seattle Golf Course fence

WEST SEATTLE, WA – A car slammed into a telephone pole in West Seattle on Wednesday evening, but the driver and passenger were uninjured.
According to the West Seattle Blog, the accident occurred around 7:53 p.m. in the 2800 block of SW Genesee St., just north of the West Seattle Golf Course.
Pictures posted on the blog show the black Subaru that apparently rolled down Avalon Way when its brakes wouldn’t work. The Subaru crashed into a telephone pole and through the fence of the West Seattle Golf Course.
