Car and semi crash causes delays on SR 512 westbound in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA — A two-vehicle crash early Monday morning caused delays on State Route 512 westbound in Tacoma, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with the Washington State Patrol.

The incident involving one car and a semi truck occurred near Canyon Road at milepost 4 and was reported around 1:05 a.m.
Both lanes along along SR 512 westbound were blocked as a result of the crash and traffic was diverted through the right shoulder.
As of 2:04 a.m., the roadway was reported to be reopened.
