Box truck runs off State Route 167, strikes overpass

PUYALLUP, WA – The driver of a box truck was taken to a local hospital after driving their vehicle off of State Route 167 near 15th St NW and hitting the overpass.

Washington State Trooper Rick Johnson reported that there were no injuries in this accident, but Valley Regional Fire said that the driver was taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not clear.
Officials did not confirm the cause of the accident or whether distracted driving was involved. No other vehicles were affected.
