Bellevue, Washington (November 20, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after getting struck by a car on Bellevue Way Northeast at Northeast 24th Street on Wednesday morning. The patient, an 85 year-old woman, was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The driver appears to be uninjured and stayed on the scene to cooperate with the police investigation.
Crews responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. The circumstances of the crash are under investigation. The crash caused all southbound lanes of Bellevue Way Northeast to be closed while investigation was ongoing.
