Bellevue, Washington (May 25, 2019) – A vehicle being driven by suspects in a theft was found to have crashed on the 100 block of 112th Avenue Northeast after a police chase. The two suspects in the car attempted to flee the scene on foot, but were later caught. There were no reports of injuries in the police chase.
The incident began when police contacted the suspects while a theft was in progress. The suspects fled west on Northeast 8 Street, and failed to yield to a traffic stop. They turned onto 112th Avenue Northeast, driving recklessly, which might have contributed to the crash. Both suspects have been booked into jail.
