Auburn Police asking public for help solving fatal hit-and-run

AUBURN, WA – The Auburn Police Department is asking the public for information regarding a deadly hit-and-run accident that happened early Friday morning.
According to the department’s Facebook post, the accident happened around 5 a.m. on the morning of Friday, Aug. 21. The victim was walking near the 2600 block of C St. SW when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The female victim died at the scene. Police are seeking any witnesses who may have information about the driver or the vehicle involved.
