Accident blocks all lanes of SR 167 in Sumner

SUMNER, WA – A collision on State Route 167 near 24th Street East in Sumner blocked all lanes of the highway Wednesday morning, forcing traffic to squeeze by in the left shoulder.

The state Department of Transportation reported the accident at 7:13 a.m. WSDOT did not report what caused the accident, but it delayed traffic significantly, so they encouraged drivers to use alternate routes.
WSDOT did not report any injuries in this accident, but updates will be posted if more information becomes available.
