Teenager dies after jumping off bridge into Snoqualmie River

SNOQUALMIE FALLS, WA – A 17-year-old boy died after jumping off of the Old Reinig Trestle into the Snoqualmie River on Tuesday, according to KOMO News.

The teenager, whose identity has not yet been released, was with a group of other teenagers when he jumped off the bridge at 396th Drive Southeast and Southeast Reinig Road around 4:30 p.m.

He was missing for half an hour before King County divers located his body and transported him to Overlake Hospital.

It is not clear whether the teenager was already dead when he arrived at the hospital.
