SEATTLE, WA – Firefighters evacuated parts of South Seattle yesterday morning after a 1,000-gallon propane tank sprang a leak, Q13 Fox reports.

Crews were called to the 600 block of S Myrtle Street, near Duwamish River, at about 10 a.m. on May 4. They quickly began evacuating the area as a precaution, and had the leak under control in about an hour.

It does not appear as though anyone was injured at this time. We will update this blog should that information change.
