86-year-old woman killed when truck crashes into her vehicle

LAKE STEVENS, WA – An 86-year-old woman died on Monday when a truck crossed several lanes of traffic and hit the side of her car.
According to KOMO News, the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of North Machias Road. Officials from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office believe the truck and the woman’s car were both heading northbound on Machias when the truck hit her car.
The victim died at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
