4-vehicle collision, overturned semi-truck cause severe backup in Fife

FIFE, WA – An accident involving four vehicles that resulted in an overturned semi truck caused a severe traffic backup on 54th Avenue East and Pacific Highway East Friday morning.

The Fife Police Department reported the accident occurred around 9:20 a.m. and confirmed that there were no injuries.
Investigators were on the scene Friday morning working to determine the cause of the accident and the responsible party.
Cleanup is expected to take up to two hours, which may cause additional traffic congestion, according to Fife Police.
