4-car collision on SR 512 seriously injures one

TACOMA, WA – One person was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital after a four-car collision occurred on westbound State Route 512 near Steele St.

State Troopers responded to the incident around 2 p.m. Wednesday to conduct an investigation. The off-ramp from SR 512 to Steele St was closed while officials investigated. There has been no update on the victim’s condition.
It is not clear what caused the accident.
