Vancouver, Washington – Four People Hospitalized Following a Hit-and-Run Collision on Interstate 5

Vancouver, Washington(February 23, 2020) – A hit-and-run collision that caused a car to roll over more than seven times on the northbound lanes of the Interstate 5 caused four people to be taken to the hospital. According to the article from KOIN 6 News, no one was seriously injured in the crash, with a pregnant woman also expected to be fine. However, the causing driver is still at large.

According to the report, the incident occurred near Northeast 134th Street on early Sunday morning. The victim’s car was struck from behind and landed upside-down near the freeway. All four people inside the car were able to get out by themselves and one passenger waved at passing cars for help, and they were eventually assisted by a nurse who stopped by.  Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Washington State Patrol.

In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
