Tacoma Trooper Rear-Ended on I-5

SEATTLE, WA – A Tacoma State Trooper was rear-ended Thursday afternoon on I-5 near Yakima Ave, according to the Washington State Patrol public information officer.

The incident reportedly occurred because of rain on the highway and possibly because the other driver was distracted. No injuries were reported, and there is no confirmation that charges will be pressed against the driver who struck the state trooper.
