State Troopers investigating collision involving log truck near Shelton

SHELTON, WA – Washington State Troopers are investigating a serious injury collision involving a log truck on US Highway 101 near Shelton on Friday.

According to WSP Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the accident happened on northbound US 101 near Purdy Cutoff Rd on Friday around 5:15 a.m. US 101 was blocked in both directions while officials investigated.
Officials did not provide additional information about the cause of the crash or extent of the injuries.
