Spokane, Washington (March 25, 2020) – A police officer and a civilian were injured when their vehicles collided at the intersection of South Lincoln Street and West 5th Avenue on Wednesday morning. According to the article from The Spokesman-Review, staff from the nearby Multicare Deaconess Hospital responded to the crash and immediately gave aid to the injured drivers. The civilian driver had to be extricated from their vehicle, and the two patients were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the report, the officer was northbound on South Lincoln Street when the other driver ran a stop sign on West 5th Avenue, resulting in a collision. Traffic investigators from the Spokane Police Department are investigating the crash.
