Spokane, Washington – One Person Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-90

Spokane, Washington (February 25, 2020) – One person was reported to have been seriously injured in a two-car collision that occurred on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 on Tuesday morning. According to the article from KHQ, the patient had serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

According to information from the Washington State Patrol, the man was driving when the hood of his car became unlatched. He pulled over and had gotten out of his vehicle to address the hood when his car was struck from behind. This caused the man to be struck by his own vehicle. According to the Spokane Fire Department the incident occurred at milepost 188 of the highway, near North Argonne Road. The crash caused the right lane of eastbound Interstate 90 and the on-ramp from Argonne Road to be temporarily blocked.
