One injured when Bellevue driver hits gas instead of brake
Request Free ConsultationBELLEVUE, WA – A bystander was injured when a driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the break in a parking lot in Bellevue on Wednesday.
A driver was in a silver sedan in a parking spot in front of a strip mall in the 12800 block of SE 38 Street. The driver accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of breaking, crashed the vehicle onto the curb and into the store façade.
The victim was a bystander and suffered an injury to their leg. The driver did not sustain any injuries.
Some structural damage to the building was reported.
