Multi-lane closure reported following Renton crash

RENTON, WA – Multiple lanes were blocked after an accident on Interstate 405 in Renton on Friday morning, according to an alert from WSDOT.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes near State Route 900 sometime after 9 a.m.

Different lanes were blocked as authorities cleared the area. At one point, all but one lane was closed, causing long delays for drivers in the area.

All lanes were reopened a little after 9:30 a.m.

There is no word on whether anyone was injured in the incident.

On I-405 northbound at SR 900 there is a collision blocking the HOV lane.
