Lynnwood Police investigate serious injury accident on 196th St

LYNNWOOD, WA – Lynnwood Police are investigating a “serious injury” collision on 196th St SW near Poplar Way, but have not confirmed what caused the accident.
Due to a serious injury accident, 196 St SW is closed in both directions from Poplar Way to Alderwood Mall Parkway. Please be patient and expect delays. It is anticipated the road will be closed for several hours.

Authorities reported that they were investigating at the scene at around noon on Wednesday. 196th St SW between Poplar Way and Alderwood Mall Parkway was closed.
Police did not confirm whether anyone in this accident died.
