Request Free ConsultationLAKEWOOD, WA – A crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler on Interstate 5 near State Route 512 caused major delays as crews cleaned up debris and made repairs to concrete barriers.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the accident happened around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Two northbound I-5 lanes were blocked as well as one southbound lane.
It is not clear how the accident happened, but crews needed to sweep debris off the roadway, remove fallen light posts, and repair the concrete barrier.
No injuries were reported. The lanes started to reopen around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
