Collision on NB I-5 at Pacific Ave draws emergency response

TACOMA, WA – Police and firefighters responded to a collision on northbound I-15 at Pacific Avenue this morning, according to a tweet from WSDOT.

A still taken from a nearby traffic camera suggests that a single vehicle was involved in the initial collision, which was seen blocking the left-hand shoulder beginning at 7:06 a.m. today.
The wreck was reportedly cleared by 7:46 a.m. However, we do not know if anyone was injured, or what may have caused the accident. We will update this blog if we learn the answers to those questions.
