Car fire on I-5 northbound near 188th St causes traffic buildup

SEATAC, WA – Firefighters responded to a car fire on northbound I-5 just north of 188th St on Friday morning, which caused a significant traffic buildup.

The Washington State Department of Transportation reported the incident around 11 a.m. Friday. It is not clear whether anyone was inside the vehicle when it caught fire. No injuries have been reported yet.
