Bellingham man killed in collision with truck in Skagit Co.

SKAGIT CO., WA – A man from Bellingham died yesterday after his SUV collided with a truck on Higgins Airport Way, the Bellingham Herald reports.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Justin W. Friedrich was southbound on Higgins Airport Way at about 1 p.m., when his 1997 Isuzu Rodeo crossed the center line near Ovenell Road and struck a northbound truck. Friedrich, 25, was killed in the collision.
The driver of the truck was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital with undisclosed injuries. He has been identified as Thomas K. Chahary, a 69-year-old resident of Sedro Woolley.
