Auburn, Washington – Car Involved in Hit-and-Run Crashes into Home

Auburn, Washington (November 13, 2019) – A stolen vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crashed into a duplex at the 200 block of 21st Place Southeast on Wednesday night. The residents of the building were at home at the time of the crash, but none were injured in the incident. No other injuries were reported in the hit-and-run.

Police have reported that a hit-and-run occurred on Highway 18 at C Street Southwest on Wednesday night, where a vehicle was identified to have been one stolen out of Tacoma. Troopers from the Washington State Patrol and Auburn Police searched the area for the vehicle and eventually found it in a side street with the driver still at the wheel. While officers were observing the vehicle the driver attempted to flee, but ended up crashing into garage of a duplex. The driver was found asleep at the wheel, and has been arrested by the police.
