2 killed in collision on State Route 7 north of Morton

MORTON, WA – Two people were killed in an accident on State Route 7 in Lewis County on Monday morning, according to KOMO and State Troopers.
Morton – SR7/MP 9 – 2 vehicle, head-on, double fatality crash has all lanes BLOCKED! No detour available. Please avoid area/delay travel.

Washington State Patrol arrived at the scene to find two vehicles involved in the collision and two victims deceased. State Route 7 was blocked in both directions while WSP investigated the possible cause. WSP has not confirmed whether icy road conditions contributed to the accident.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
