WSP investigates 3-car collision in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, WA – Detectives with the Washington State Patrol are investigating a three-car collision that injured two people Thursday, according to the Public Information Officer for the First District.
Troopers and soon WSP detectives are investigating a vehicular assault, 3 car collision. Occurred south I-5 at Bridgeport Way. Causing driver and passenger are only ones that took injuries. Driver is impaired and under arrest. Expect a lengthy delay for traffic. pic.twitter.com/8S8oLx5DFA

The crash occurred at I-5 and Bridgeport Way sometime before 6 p.m. Police believe that an intoxicated driver was responsible for collision, and have taken them into custody. The only injuries reported were the at-fault driver and their passenger.
Traffic in the area was significantly impacted.
