Woman injured in crash involving suspected DUI driver near Sumner
Request Free ConsultationPIERCE COUNTY, WA — A woman was seriously hurt Monday night in a multi-car collision caused by a suspected DUI driver on State Route 167 near Sumner, reports The Seattle Times.
The accident took place on a span of SR-167 approaching SR-410 and was first reported by Washington State Patrol at 7:41 p.m.

No information has been disclosed on the events leading up to the crash, but authorities arrested a driver under suspicion of driving while impaired.
A female passenger in the causing driver’s vehicle suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
No other parties were reported injured.
WSP warned of an extended closure of the road to accommodate an investigation into vehicular assault.
