Woman injured in Benton County hit-and-run

BENTON COUNTY, WA — A 19-year-old woman was injured Monday afternoon in a serious hit-and-run collision south of Kennewick, according to KOMO News.

Troopers and medics responded to the incident around 12:30 p.m. along Interstate 82.

Authorities are in search of the causing driver of the 18-wheeler semi truck.

The woman received treatment on scene and was transported to the hospital. She is reported to be making a recovery.
