Woman fatally struck by vehicle on Pilgrim St and 37th Ave

SEATTLE, WA – A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Pilgrim Street on Wednesday morning, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The crash occurred at 3701 S Pilgrim Street, near 37^th Avenue S at 11:14 p.m., when a woman was struck by a vehicle.

The victim, who was described only as an adult female, was taken to the hospital. A few hours later, she succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced dead.

It is unclear at this point if the driver remained at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
