Woman dies after being hit by car on Lynnwood sidewalk

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A woman was killed Friday afternoon after being struck by a car pulling out from a parking lot in the Beverly Acres neighborhood of Lynnwood, according to Q13 FOX Seattle.

The incident occurred along the southbound lanes of state Route 99 near the 176th Street Southwest intersection at around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities said the woman was on the sidewalk when a car trying to leave a business storefront pulled out onto SR-99 and struck her.

Lynnwood Police confirmed the victim died as a result of the crash.

All lanes on SR-99 southbound were closed as authorities responded.
