SEATAC, WA – Authorities took a woman into custody Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after she led them on a pursuit on Interstate 5 and nearly collided with multiple people near Sea-Tac Airport.

According to King 5, the incident began sometime before noon after several witnesses reported a woman driving erratically near the airport. The 31-year-old suspect had reportedly attempted to strike two people with her car and had succeeded in hitting two vehicles.

She fled onto the interstate after an officer attempted to make a stop, leading police in pursuit.

The chase ended in Fife, where the woman was peacefully taken into custody for unspecified charges. Her identity has not been released at this time.

No injuries were reported in the chase.
