According to KIMA, the incident occurred on highway I-5 as the driver of a Ford F-150 entered the onramp from Mercer St. at 10:20 a.m. The driver of the Ford said the Prius driver made it difficult for him to merge onto the highway. The pickup truck driver said he eventually merged in front of the Prius to exit off I-90.
The pickup truck driver said the Prius pulled up next to him, rolled down the passenger window, and fired at his truck. The driver of the pickup pulled off the highway to Mercer Island, where he found a bullet hole in the side of his truck. The driver is unharmed.
Washington State Patrol is urging the public to come forward if they have information about this incident or the driver of the Prius.
