Wapato, Washington – Two People Injured in Semi Truck-Car Collision

Wapato, Washington (February 12, 2020) – Two people were injured in a collision involving a car and a semi truck on the intersection of West Wapato Road and north Brownstown Road on Wednesday morning. According to the article from KIMA News, the car driver may have sustained serious head injuries and broken bones. A child passenger in the car also sustained undisclosed injuries. The truck driver was not reported to be hurt.

According to the information given by the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred just after 8 a.m. The semi truck carrying a full road failed to yield to the car and turned left, causing the collision.
