Walla Walla, Washington (November 8, 2019) – A car crashed on a driveway of a residence on Fern Avenue and East Tietan Street on Friday night, resulting in the car crash-landing on top of the car parked in the driveway. Fortunately no injuries were reported in the incident. Police are currently looking for the driver, who fled the scene.

According to the report the driver appeared to have missed the stop sign and launched off a decorative boulder in the yard of the residence. This caused the car to partly land on the car parked in the driveway and crash into a section of the house. The case remains under investigation.

In 2017, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)  have reported a total of 120, 993 car accidents. In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
