Van driver crashes into restaurant’s outdoor dining structure in Seattle
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — The driver of a van crashed into the outdoor seating structure of a well-known restaurant Thursday night in Seattle, according to Capitol Hill Seattle.
The incident occurred before midnight at the outside dining area in front of Capitol Cider, located at 818 East Pike Street just west of Broadway Avenue.
The driver of a white van appeared to lose control of the vehicle, veering across East Pike Street and a protected bike lane before crashing into the restaurant’s custom structure.
No serious injuries have been reported following the incident.
Seattle police responded to the crash and the driver of the van was given a field sobriety test and passed.
