Update: More details emerge following wrong-way crash on SR-18

AUBURN, WA – The Kent Reporter has additional information about the dramatic wrong-way crash that took place on SR-18 yesterday morning.

According to their reporting, a 30-year-old woman from Tacoma was driving east in the highway’s westbound lanes when her 1999 Lexus ES struck a 2009 Toyota Camry driven by a 25-year-old man from Kent just past 304th Street. Both individuals were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and were admitted to the ICU.

That section of SR-18 was closed for approximately four hours following the 2:33 a.m. collision.
