Update: Kenmore police officer involved in Renton injury collision

RENTON, WA – The multi-vehicle collision that resulted in injuries yesterday involved a Kenmore police officer, KOMO News reports.

This story updates our previous reporting.

The officer was on his way to a prior incident when he collided with a silver sedan at the intersection of Airport Way and Rainier Avenue at around 4 p.m. on Monday.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The police officer was not hurt.

The incident remains under investigation.
