UPDATE: Emergency services respond to crash on SR 167

RENTON, WA – Units from several emergency services have been dispatched to the accident on SR-167 near I-405, WSDOT reports via its Seattle Area Incidents feed.

This is an update to a story published earlier this morning.

The single-vehicle rollover crash took place in SR-167’s northbound HOV lane sometime before 7:50 a.m. today. Medical responders, Fire Assistance, the Incident Response Team, tow trucks, and the Washington State Patrol had all arrived on the scene by 8:21 a.m.

All lanes of SB I-5 in Shoreline have reopened but traffic is slow all the way to I-405 in Lynnwood.

Traffic was also flowing again, but the timing of the wreck ensured that rush hour traffic had already been backed up for two miles.
