Two-vehicle crash delays traffic near Highland Park in west Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon caused delays on Roxbury Street near the Highland Park area in west Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.

The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Roxbury Street at the 14th Avenue Southwest intersection shortly before 3:56 p.m.

Westbound traffic was re-routed around the scene, creating stop-and-go traffic in both directions.

At least two police cruisers were seen responding to the accident, and one Seattle Fire Department engine was en route for possible injuries.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.

Shortly before 5:00 p.m., about an hour after the crash, the scene was cleared.
