Two joggers injured, one seriously, after being hit by car in Bremerton
Request Free ConsultationBREMERTON, WA – Two joggers were injured when a driver struck them in the 6800 block of Kitsap Way on Saturday night, according to Washington State Patrol.
#UPDATE: The involved driver was SB on Northlake Way near Kitsap Way at around 5:30 p.m. Two joggers & a bicyclist were on the SB shoulder in the same area. The driver struck one jogger causing serious injury. The 2nd jogger sustained minor injuries after being struck by debris. pic.twitter.com/9BkqtPA2wl

WSP Trooper Chelsea Hodgson reported that the two joggers were using the southbound shoulder of the road around 5:30 p.m. when the car hit them. A bicyclist was also in the shoulder with the joggers but was not injured.
One of the joggers sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
WSP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
