Two hurt after car rear-ends IRT truck on I-5 in Lynnwood
Request Free ConsultationSNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a car slammed into an Incident Response Team vehicle on Interstate 5 in Lynnwood, according to Washington State Patrol.

The accident took place on a stretch of I-5 southbound between 164th Street and the I-405 onramp shortly after 7:00 a.m.
Trooper Rocky Oliphant said the IRT vehicle was blocking the HOV lane to zone off an earlier crash when it was hit.
Both drivers were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two left lanes on the southbound interstate were shut down in response to the accident.
