SEQUIM, WA (CLALLAM COUNTY) – Two people were killed and another two were injured in a head-on collision in Clallam County yesterday afternoon, according to KOMO News.

The accident occurred on Highway 101, near mile marker 267, at about 4:25 p.m., when one vehicle crossed over the center line and into the pathway of oncoming traffic.

The vehicle then collided head-on with another automobile, causing the death of two occupants of one of the cars.

Two people in the other vehicle sustained undisclosed injuries and were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
