Tumwater, Washington – Minor Injuries in Motorcycle Crash at Tumwater Boulevard

Tumwater, Washington (April 17, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in a crash that occurred at the roundabout at Tumwater Boulevard. According to a report from the Thurston Co. Scanner, News & Weather, aid was dispatched to check on his condition, but there were no mentions of the rider being transported to the hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

The incident started when deputies of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop three motorcycles on Old Highway 99 near the airport. Two of the riders stopped, but the third sped away and drove westbound on Tumwater Boulevard. However, the rider was unable to negotiate the roundabout at New Market Street, resulting in a crash. He was detained by deputies and will be booked into jail.

Be especially cautious when driving at night, as with any other vehicle. Any mistakes in judgement can lead to accidents, injuries and damage not only to your person, but on other people as well.
