Traffic heavily impacted when crews rescue 2 adults
Request Free ConsultationAUBURN, WA – A number of South King Fire Departments, including Puget Sound Fire, responded to calls for help from two adults who fell down a cliff near Kummer Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
Multiple South King County Fire depts. are currently working to rescue two adults utilizing rope systems. The adults fell down a steep cliff area at the Kummar bridge on the Enumclaw-Black Diamond Rd. Traffic is heavily impacted in the area. pic.twitter.com/4I8Zepk1gn

Puget Sound Fire reported the incident at 4:19 p.m. via Twitter. Crews responded to the Kummer Bridge on Enumclaw-Black Diamond Rd. with ropes to hoist the two adults to safety.
A public information officer from South King County tweeted a photo of one of the victims being strapped into a stoked basket with minor injuries.
Update on patient on Enumclaw-Black Diamond Road: one patient with non life-threatening injuries. The patient was safely hoisted up the cliff in a stoked basket and will be transported to the hospital. pic.twitter.com/yiLwFSFL6y

Officials are investigating how the two adults fell down the cliff.
