Traffic heavily impacted when crews rescue 2 adults

AUBURN, WA – A number of South King Fire Departments, including Puget Sound Fire, responded to calls for help from two adults who fell down a cliff near Kummer Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.

Puget Sound Fire reported the incident at 4:19 p.m. via Twitter. Crews responded to the Kummer Bridge on Enumclaw-Black Diamond Rd. with ropes to hoist the two adults to safety.

A public information officer from South King County tweeted a photo of one of the victims being strapped into a stoked basket with minor injuries.

Officials are investigating how the two adults fell down the cliff.
